[PPG] vfd question...

I'm hoping someone who has replaced their display with a vfd can answer a
couple of questions.  I ordered to Noritake display that is supposedly the
drop in replacement.  However, it has all kind of jumper options etc that
are not fully specified on the short data sheet as found on the ppg site.

Is there anything that needs to be done except disconnecting the high
voltage line and just hooking up the ribbon cable on a header?  I've done
that but I get nothing on powerup.  Is there something more?  Thanks!
