I've been meaning to try out Rick Huang's code from his delay project
that was posted back in March. Seems like the best starting point.

It's been a while since I read through that. Seems to me that if you
want fine frequency resolution in the upper registers you'll need some
sort of interpolation so you can get non-integer amounts of delay. How
did they address that?
